Layouts Scale & Gauge Details
Milwall Goods 7mm:1ft, 32mm gauge (O) An Edwardian-era layout set in the East India Docks.
Horton Road 7mm:1ft, 32mm gauge (O) The Society’s own O-scale layout returns to to our exhibition after a long absence.
Abbey Road 4mm:1ft, 16.5mm gauge (OO) This present-day model is located on the Bakerloo and Jubilee Lines of London Underground Limited and is a split-level, busy, end to end layout.
Iron Mold Lane 4mm:1ft, 16.5mm gauge (OO) The superb, atmospheric iron and steel works shunting layout.
Longmoor Military Railway 4mm:1ft, 16.5mm gauge (OO) A 40th Anniversary tribute to the LMR system, which closed in 1969.
Leaford 4mm:1ft, 16.5mm gauge (OO) A DCC layout, set near Eastleigh in Network SouthEast days, featuring typical local trains of the period.
Tarrant Valley Railway 4mm:1ft, 9mm gauge (OO-9) The Society’s popular narrow gauge layout, making its final appearance at WimRail, celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2009.
Purbeck 4mm:1ft, 9mm gauge (OO-9) An excellent freelance layout illustrating the ball clay industry of the Isle of Purbeck, including many prototypical features.
Wadebridge 2mm:1ft, 9mm gauge (N) A portrayal of this North Conwall statiopn during the 1950s.

Plus secondhand model railway sales, society stands and displays from the Wimborne District Society of Model Engineers and the Moors Valley Railway.
   

 

Light refreshments will be available throughout the exhibition.
